Lock Screen = Easy Money


I'm an Android person.
I occasionally get in arguments with mac people about who's phone is better. My easy win is that I've got a headphone jack. Another winner is an app, and also a group of apps, that are only available to android users. A couple months ago, I tried out an app I read about called S'more.  Its only available for androids. Apple users don't care about money though. Why else would Apple release a $1000 phone? Then sell an attachment just so you can plug in headphones? I've made $10 in Amazon gift cards. It took as much effort as it takes to unlock my phone.
I occasionally feel bad about wasting time on my phone. I like phone games. Starwars Galaxy of Heros is my current go to. Then I remember that I should be productive. Isn't it great that my phone makes me money, even when I'm just opening it to play games? Yes. Yes it is.
Here's how it works:
The app puts a lock screen with an  advertisement on it. You swipe past that and it takes you to your regular lock screen, where you enter your pass code.
I tried multiple screen lock apps. Some have the potential to make more money, but they can be a lot more spammy, and they require you to interact with them. I don't want to just click on ads. S'more will pay you ten cents per day, whether you interact with the ads or not. Its consistent. That's why this is the only one I use.
The cons: it drains your battery a little bit faster. I haven't had a problem with the drain though. (If your battery does drain too fast, get a battery pack! I love these!)
The other con is that it doesn't work for all phones. If it doesn't work for your phone, the worst downside of all is that you chose apple over android.

My power company just sent me free LED bulbs. If your power company has offered this, and you haven't taken advantage of it, DO IT!           At my last job I was responsible for filming and live streaming events. I've filmed footage for a couple online classes and I run three YouTube channels. You wouldn't think filming an advertisement for my wife's makeup company would be a big deal. She wants me to be the model in the commercial though, modeling some girly lip-stuff.            How did I get in this mess? Well, for me it started on our wedding day. Driving for Lyft and Uber: What You Need to Know

I've taken one taxi ride in my life. I was in England and needed to get to the airport early in the morning. I rode from Oxford to the London Gatwick Airport. The fare was £145, which did not include tip. All said and done it cost about $200. The days of taxis, especially here in the US are winding down. Programs like Lyft and Uber are getting rid of that. The cost to take an Uber from Orem to the Salt Lake Airport from Uber is roughly $50, while a traditional taxi is $120-150. Are the Drivers Making Money?
