Money Making Hacks

I've tried a lot of apps. These are the best.

Grocery Rebate Apps:

Ibotta

Do you go grocery shopping? Do you eat food? I've earned hundreds in rebates from this app. Most recently? Avocados, any brand, $.25 back. Yes please.  They also have rebates for Amazon, Cabelas, Target, Walmart, and a lot of other places. Use this link and they'll give you $10 when you get started.

Another rebate app. This one isn't as good as Ibotta, but I like to stack them up as much as I can. If you only pick one, go with Ibotta, if you want to stack them, this is a good second choice. If you aren't interested in stacking, scroll down to investment, or semi-passive income apps below!

Fetch Rewards App

Here's a third rebate app, again, if you like stacking the rebates, here's an ok third. I've made most with Ibotta by far, but I've made a little bit with all the others. Use my referral code: M1QQD and you'll get an extra $2 sign up bonus.

Walmart Savings Catcher

If you shop at Walmart, you should be using this app. All you do is scan the bar-code and if there are any stores in the area with a cheaper price on an item, Walmart will match it and give you money back. I've gotten about $40 from this.

Investment Apps:

Stash:

This is hands down my favorite investment app. It is super easy and basic, and you buy different mutual funds. Mutual funds = diversified stock portfolio. Use this link and you'll get a $5 sign up bonus. https://get.stashinvest.com/lancew9q7f

Robinhood:

If you want more control and you get more involved in your investing, this is your app. Buy and sell stocks without fees, and even dabble in a bit of day trading. It will also allow cryptocurrency trading starting soon! Use this link to sign up with and you'll get a free stock to start out with! I didn't, and didn't get a freebie. Learn from my mistake! https://share.robinhood.com/lancem129

Semi-Passive Income Apps:

These apps don't require a lot of input, and with minimal effort, you can start making money.

Inbox Dollars:

A buddy asked me the other day for an app to make money with in your spare time. This is it. Got five minutes? There are quite a few options here for making a little bit of money. Be sure to use the link to check it out.

Smore:

Are you an android user? Download this app and use it with your lock screen. It shows you an ad, and you get $.10 per day. There are other apps that do similar things, but this one is the only one I've found that has a clean user experience. The app developers describe it as stupid easy. I agree.  https://goo.gl/NPGT2O

Pocket Points:

Every Monday night my wife and I go to Chic-Fil-A and get a milkshake. It's free, thanks to the pocket points app. This app rewards students for being off their phone while in class. Rewards include milkshakes, discounts, and right now there's even a freebie for a Papa Johns pizza. Use my referral code +2nxR for some free points!

Receipt Apps:

These apps allow you to sell receipts for money. I also like that I have digital copies of all my receipts as well.

Receipt Hog:

This app is consistent, and redeems directly to pay-pal. Snap a pic of your receipts, get paid. Its simple.

Receipt Pal:

This one has made me the most money. In fact, I cashed out earlier today for an Amazon gift card. They do often times have a waiting period though, so it might take a while to get in. I was only on the waiting list for about a week, but it just depends on what they want to do.

Other Good Apps:

Facebook Marketplace:

Long story short, its a yard sale without having to set up a yard sale. I like to get rid of clutter around the house with this. It also is a good way for my wife to get rid of her never ending supply of clothes. We've made close to $2000 from this alone in the last six months.

T-Mobile Tuesday:

Every Tuesday I get some freebies from my T-Mobile Tuesday app. Sometimes its $5 towards the Vudu movie app. Other times its a free rice bowl from Panda Express. Some weeks its something lame. I know At&T has a similar program as well. Take advantage of the freebies!

Book Scouter:

I'm a college student, and almost always want to sell my textbooks back at the end of the semester. This app finds you the best price online for your book. I made about $60 one day, just because I decided to clear out some old text books from my bookshelf. Interested in seeing how much your books are worth? Just download, and scan the bar-code on your book with the app. It'll tell you.

HD Movie Codes:

This app/website has a rewards program for buying their digital movies, which you can then redeem in VUDU. Their movie prices are already ridiculously cheap, then their rewards program gives you more freebies. Use this link for an additional 10% off.
